Soil Voucher Program

Oldham County residents are eligible to receive vouchers for free soil testing!  Through grant funds from the KY Division of Conservation and the Oldham County Environmental Authority, we are happy to provide this service to you. Simply call our office at 502-222-5123 or drop us an email at oldhamswcd@gmail.com to request vouchers.

Tree Seedling Giveaway

Our next tree seedling giveaway will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 10:00 a.m.  We will have limited supplies of the following species of trees available: Bald Cypress; Eastern Redbud; Yellow-Poplar; Wild Plum; White Oak; Pin Oak; Kentucky Coffeetree; White Pine; Northern Red Oak; Pawpaw; Hazelnut and Chestnut Oak.

Monarch Butterfly Program  

Teachers and home school parents interested in participating in the August 2017 program can sign-up by calling our office at 222-5123. Spots fill up fast so get your name on the list!

Mid-September be on the lookout for the monarchs as they migrate back through Oldham County on their way to Mexico.  It's a truly a sight to see!

Conservation Art and Writing Contest

This statewide program is sponsored by the KY Division of Conservation and KY Farm Bureau. It is open to all Oldham County students K - 12.
